Summer’s Closing Thoughts
Although it may be a bit confusing, we have only provided limited places and names for safety reasons. Some of our brave workers have chosen to remain in dangerous Russian occupied towns to continue their work there. Others are living and working with a few kilometres of the Russian occupied area. At the present time we are receiving only a little news from the occupied areas by text messages as the internet is not working very well. It is also not wise to carry a cell phone outdoors as it may be ‘appropriated’ by Russian soldiers.
Although we do not know how long the war may last, we all feel that it is important for this work to continue as the Lord enables. Helping children and families in need is a big part of this ministry and it encourages us each time it bears fruit for eternity. Even in the middle of a war spreading the gospel remains our primary goal. We know that the Lord is in charge of this work and that we can trust Him with the outcome. We are very grateful for all of you who are part of this ministry through your prayers and support. Please pray with us that the Lord would provide many opportunities not only to meet people’s physical needs but also to reach out with the good news of the gospel through our co-workers this summer. - Heather
